Unidos para la Familia is proud to work with families of many essential workers in the Cumberland County and specifically centered in Bridgeton.Due to the recent events with the coronavirus, families connected with Unidos and other families in the community have been referred to us with specific needs for help with food, bills and technology to ensure their children can complete their online classwork. In order to meet this need, Unidos has raised some funds through grant money, $2,500 of this from the Starling Fund atGiving Tuesday, and is asking for help from our community with additional funds.On and around May 5th, Unidos plans to deliver $100-200 in groceries to 30+ families in our community. In addition to this, we plan to provide laptops to families who have multiple children and only have access to one laptop, which makes it difficult for them to school.
